Royal Host

Royal Host is a family restaurant chain with a long, rich history that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022. Its name comes from its goal to serve their customers sincerely and graciously, like a host inviting their good friends over for dinner. The restaurants’s interiors are decorated with high-quality furniture which gives a luxurious feel, so that their customers can feel like they are having a special time while dining there. Their signature color is orange, a warm, inviting color, and like the color itself, they try to provide a cozy atmosphere where people can feel at home.

There are 3 dishes that have continuously been served ever since the restaurant chain was founded: Cosmopolitan Doria, Beef Java Curry, and Beef Stew. These dishes can also be bought as frozen food under the name Loyal Deli, so you can enjoy their beloved tastes at your home!

In the picture below is the Black x Black Hamburger Steak, popular for its juicy, meaty flavor, which is made by mixing Japanese Black beef and Berkshire pork together. You can choose between two sizes, 190g and 250g, and three kinds of sauce, Garlic Cream Sauce, Grated Daikon Radish & Mushroom Teriyaki Sauce, and Brown Butter Sauce with Fried Egg. You can also choose between french fries and penne gratin to have with the steak.

Another great steak in Royal Host is the CAB Sirloin Steak, using Certified Angus Beef that was recognized by USDA after undergoing a long time of development and testing. The beef is brought to each location chilled and in bulk, sliced by the hand of employees in the store, and brought to the table after it has its surface grilled. Even proffesional steak shop owners will be surprised at this taste! There are 4 kinds of sauce you can choose: Demiglace Butter, Grated Daikon Radish with Yuzu-Ponzu Citrus, Garlic Cream and Soy Sauce And Parsley Garlic Butter.

While it’s not as well known, Royal Host has delicious pasta as well! They use chewy fresh pasta made in a warm island called Awajishima.

Once you’re done choosing a main dish, it’s time for a side! English-Style Bread or rice are the most popular options, but you can also choose Multi Grain Rice or Low Carbohhydrate Bread if you’re fine with paying 50 yen extra. For drinks, many Royal Host locations have a drink bar, but I would recommend buying Hot Coffee or Paradise Tropical Iced Tea if there wasn’t (especially if you’re staying for a long time), since both of these drinks are free-refill.

After you finish eating, you can order a dessert. The pancake below is known for sparking controversy when some people on TV criticized it. Each one of these pancakes were cooked carefully by a chef, and you can smell the sweetness the second it’s placed on your table! Don’t forget to pour some syrup when you eat it.

Here is another popular dessert, the Hot Fudge Sundae, a luxurious sundae topped with ice cream that uses Belgian chocolate and Madagascan vanilla. You can pour some hot fudge on it.

Royal Host, despite being a family restaurant, gives a fancy, elegant impression. All of the staff there are warm and friendly. I strongly recommend that you visit it sometime!
