Denny’s

Denny’s is a restaurant chain orginally from the US, but the ones in Japan operate independently under the same brand name, and their menu is heavily altered to suit Japanese people’s tastes.

You can use the tablet placed on each table to order. Tap the button that says “language” to change the language. You can just select some things you want by clicking on them and tap order, and your food will arrive after a while.

The Select Morning breakfast set (660 yen), which is available from 6:00 to 11:00, consists of a main dish (eggs or salad), a side (pancakes, toast, rice with miso soup etc.), and a drink bar.

There are many kinds of weekday lunches, such as sets with one main dish, one side dish, and drink bar (1220 yen), Daily One Plate Lunch (880 yen), and Daily Lunch (690 yen).

Some popular dishes at Denny’s are Beef Hamburg Steak, Chicken Jambalaya, Cheese Omelet Rice, and Jade noodles with Herb Chicken & vegetables. You can choose between four types of sauce for the Beef Hamburger Steak, which are Grated Radish, Garlic, Oriental and Demi-Glace, letting you enjoy the rich, juicy flavor of the steak.

There is also a teatime set from 15:00 to 18:00, which consists of one main dessert (which can be chosen between four desserts), one side dish, and a drink bar.

The Denny’s drink bar is 470 yen when ordered alone, and 320 yen when included in a set menu (the price is different in the morning: 250 yen when ordered alone and 250 yen when included in a set). For 40 yen you can buy a cup you can use to take a drink home.
